Server and local backup planning
If your team relies on a server or shared workstation, losing access can interrupt the whole day. A local backup can make some restores more practical, but keeping the only copy next to the equipment leaves you exposed to problems at that location.
What should be protected?
We'll identify the systems and files people actually use, how they connect, and what needs to come back first. Then we can talk about local storage, offsite copies, and a restore process someone can follow when time matters.
Make recovery part of the plan
Backup reports tell you that a job ran. A restore test helps answer a different question: can the data be used? The frequency and scope of testing should fit the systems you depend on.
